The draft submission process
The NFSA is comprised of various Councils, or Committees, which is one of the vital components of South African food safety; a representative and equitable partnership among stakeholders is necessary to achieve objectives and advance food safety. Councils are mainly responsible for conducting research and developing draft guidelines which are reviewed and approved by the Board. Finished material is available as NFSA guidelines for voluntary implementation.
